Our Program
MST consists of 12 consecutive days of visits to our office (1 hour per day) for a customized program. The participant views a computerized light instrument while lying on a gently rotating multi-sensory table and listening to modulating music tracks. This is followed by 18 days of using a light therapy unit in the convenience of your home twice a day.
For the initial 12 days, children under 18 typically complete two 30 minute sessions each day that are spaced at least 3 hours apart. Adults can plan for two 25 minute sessions with just a 10 minute break in-between.
Beyond the 30 day program, some participants benefit from in-office booster sessions which are conducted 6-9 months later if determined appropriate.

Who Does MST Help?

The evaluation process is the first step at MindSync to determine how MST can benefit you or your child. Our testing will show how well the brain is perceiving and processing information. We will complete an auditory listening profile and a test to measure functional visual fields. A vestibular/balance test will also be completed. Additional tests may be recommended. Testing at MindSync will last between 60-90 minutes. We will then thoroughly review the results with you, answer any questions and make you feel comfortable with the process.
These tests are not diagnostic but results are used as a benchmark for future testing that is completed several weeks after one has concluded the program at MindSync to measure progress & improvements. The initial 12 days of MST at our office should begin within 30 days of completing the evaluation.
The next step is scheduling the 12 days at our office – we will do all we can to accommodate busy schedules with early morning, afternoon or evening hours.
